Katayama Kogyo Inc. was founded in 1947 by Kakuji Katayama. Katayama Kogyo’s first product was automotive exhaust flexible tubes followed rapidly by thermo tubing and other tube related products. From this humble beginning we have steadily added over the years other automotive exterior parts such as door sashes and moldings. As a result the Katayama name is recognized worldwide as one of the leading Japanese automotive parts suppliers.

Using our unique engineering skills and technology developed through automotive parts design and manufacturing processes, Katayama is now expanding its product line to include construction machinery and agricultural machinery parts.

As the Japanese automotive industry has grown in all automotive related fields we are expected to compete worldwide.

By setting up overseas manufacturing facilities and establishing technical joint ventures with other overseas companies, Katayama has spread its work structure worldwide. We have been developing our company foundation to become a global company.

In the 21st century, a corporation should not only pursue the goal of enlarging its capacity but should also put more effort into establishing a corporate culture with wide vision.

Based on our company’s foundation of respect for human dignity, we have made our facilities more user friendly to our workforce and have provided good benefit programs. With this foundation, I believe we will be able to produce high quality products with great efficiency.
