1947 (S22) Mr. Kakuji Katayama established Japan High-pressure Flexible Pipe plant
1949 (S24) Developed and manufactured for fuel pipe of automobile.
1950 (S25) Started business with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, Mizushima plant).
1955 (S30) Started business with Toyo Kogyo Co., Ltd. (MAZDA Motor Corp.).
1957 (S32) Started manufacturing window frame for automobile.
1959 (S34) Changed trade name to Katayama Kogyo Co., Ltd. (Capitalized at 4,500,000 yen.)
1961 (S36) Increased the capital to 18,000,000 yen.
Opened Hiroshima Sales Office.
1963 (S38) Increased the capital to 36,000,000 yen.
1964 (S39) Started business with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, Nagoya plant).
1966 (S41) Increased the capital to 48,000,000 yen.
1969 (S44) Started business with ISEKI & CO., LTD..
1975 (S50) Started manufacturing Bellows pipe.
1976 (S51) Increased the capital to 60,000,000 yen.
Started manufacturing Multi-layered tube.
Opened Okazaki Sales Office
1977 (S52) Technical agreement with Hashimoto Forming Kogyo Co., Ltd. (FALTEC Co., Ltd.) on compound materials of resin & metal.
1978 (S53) Technical agreement with Kee Young Industry Co., Ltd. (Korea) on manufacturing of automotive door sash & molding.
1979 (S54) Technical agreement with FALTEC Co., Ltd. on manufacturing of Bellows pipe.
1980 (S55) Mr. Kakuji Katayama was inaugurated as Chairman and Mr. Norio Katayama as President.
Acknowledged as Quality guaranteed supplier for Mitsubishi Motors Corp., Mizushima plant.
1981 (S56) Acknowledged as Quality guaranteed supplier by Mazda Motor Corporation.
Automatic flocking line was set up.
1984 (S59) Technical agreement with Silcraft Manufacturing Co.(Australia) on manufacturing of molding.
1985 (S60) Invest capital for Woo Young Industry Co., Ltd..
1987 (S62) Invest capital for Kee Young Industry Co., Ltd..
1988 (S63) Increased the capital to 96,000,000 yen.
1989 (H 1) Established KACI in U.S.A. (100% subsidiary).
Introduced "Dual-material injection forming machine".
1990 (H 2) Introduced VI(Visual Identity System).
Introduced F/W molding technology from Tokiwa Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. .
1992 (H 4) Completion of Kinoko plant.
Technical agreement with Ingress Corp. (Malaysia) on manufacturing of Molding.
1994 (H6) Technical agreement with Jui Li Enterprise Co., Ltd. (Taiwan) on Door sash frame.
Invest capital for Shin Young Industry Co. (Jin Young Industry Co..Ltd.).
Introduced F/W molding technology from FALTEC Co., Ltd.
1995 (H7) Invest capital for Ingress Corp. in Malaysia.
1997 (H9) Invest capital fro Ingress Corp. in Thailand.
Started business with TOTO Ltd.
1998 (H10) Obtained acknowledgement for an excellent Quality guaranteed supplier of Mazda.

Mr. Norio Katayama was inaugurated as Chairman and Mr. Atsutaka Seto as President.
2005 (H17) Technical agreement with Wagon Automotive Co. on Door Sash frame.
2006 (H18) Established and opened Suzuka Plant.
2007 (H19) Started business with Suzuki Motor Corporation.
2008 (H20) Mr. Masayuki Katayama was inaugurated as President and Mr. Motonori Tanimoto as Vice president.
