A decoupler is a type of bellows which has been developed to meet customers’ needs for a small and light bellows to absorb vibration from a car.
Compared with past vibration absorbent bellows its design structure succeeds in achieving a smaller, stronger, no leakage device that sustains a higher vibration load.
By distributing vibration to two different areas , smaller vibration displacements are absorbed by mounts of bellows while larger vibration changes are absorbed by a relief spring. With this decoupler’s design, not only have we been able to achieve better vibration absorption and durability, we also have been able to develop a smaller and lighter product.
